Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Portage, MI is seeking an Assembler I to assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts and electrical systems into subassemblies or complete units. You will work from instructions, perform test procedures, and document results to meet quality standards.

The role includes meeting build rates, packaging products, and loading for shipment. We offer a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Thurs 4:00pm–2:30am with OT as needed), onsite work, and benefits with a shift premium.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Onsite assembly work with hand tools, power tools, jigs and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to subassemblies or complete units.
• Under supervision, assemble components including sub-assemblies and electrical components meeting quality requirements.
• Follow production build rates and schedules to meet cycle times and QA criteria.
• Package finished products and load onto trailers for shipment.
