Job summary

Tris Pharma, Inc. in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, is hiring a Manufacturing Porter on 2nd shift (M-F, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM). The role focuses on cleaning designated manufacturing areas to preserve facilities and ensure compliance with SOPs and cGMPs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, English fluency, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior porter/housekeeping experience is preferred, with pay around $20/hour plus benefits.

• Ability to read and interpret safety and environmental policies, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Color vision to distinguish colors in a manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to work additional hours as required by business needs.
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and regulatory requirements (cGMP).
• Familiarity with SOPs and cGMPs in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a Porter or Housekeeping is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and removes garbage from various manufacturing locations, including cGMP areas.
• Sweeps and cleans floors and maintains production areas in a neat, orderly condition.
• Keeps production areas clean at all times.
• Empties trash and disposes of it according to procedures.
• Ensures adequate supplies are stocked as needed.
• Transports small equipment between departments as required.
• Adheres to plant safety policies and procedures.
