Tris Pharma, Inc. in Monmouth Junction, NJ, is seeking Packaging Mechanics at multiple levels. Shifts are 1st and 2nd, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00 PM–1:00 AM, with 10‑hour days Monday to Thursday.

The Packaging Mechanic will support the Packaging Department with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on fillers, cappers, labelers, cartoners, and related equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 3–5 years of pharma/biotech experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with experience in packaging mechanics.
• 2nd item could be filled if needed but primary requirements are listed above.

Responsibilities

• Maintain packaging equipment per SOPs, cGMPs and FDA requirements.
• Perform packaging line changeovers and startups.
• Assist QA during packaging runs.
• Troubleshoot, repair and upgrade packaging equipment (fillers, cappers, labelers, cartoners, bundlers, shrink wrappers).
• Perform preventive maintenance and drive continuous improvement of packaging equipment.
• Assist root cause analysis for equipment failures.
