Home Market Foods in Norwood, MA is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee daily manufacturing, maintenance, sanitation, and distribution while partnering with leadership to drive strategic initiatives and optimize processes.

The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and strong people development. You’ll translate business needs into production plans, monitor performance, and ensure safety, quality, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leadership in manufacturing (food or CPG preferred)
• High school diploma required; degree in Engineering/Operations preferred
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Bilingual ability is a plus
• Strong packaging operations knowledge
• Proficiency in MS Office tools

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations across production, maintenance, sanitation, and distribution
• Ensure manufacturing plans, schedules, and performance targets are met
• Lead cross-functional coordination for safety, quality, and efficiency
• Shape and execute operational strategies with leadership
• Champion lean and CI initiatives; analyze performance metrics and implement corrective actions
• Build and develop the leadership bench and oversee hiring/onboarding
