Job summary

Confluent Medical Technologies, Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Manufacturing Lead for the 2nd shift. You will serve as the designated Team Lead, coordinate staffing and priorities, and provide direction to manufacturing personnel to ensure safety, quality and delivery.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of related experience (medical device experience preferred). Proficiency with MS Excel/Word, reading measuring devices, and SDS familiarity is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5+ years of related experience and/or leadership training; AA degree a plus.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with equipment and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good computer skills (MS Excel/Word).
• Ability to work 2nd shift and overtime as required.
• Familiarity with SDS documents and safety procedures.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Team Lead for assigned manufacturing areas during 2nd shift operations.
• Coordinate daily staffing and production priorities.
• Provide work direction and support to manufacturing personnel.
• Assist onboarding, training, and cross-training of employees.
• Monitor production performance and communicate priorities during the shift.
• Escalate safety, quality, equipment, and staffing concerns as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Facilitate effective shift pass-down communication.
• Support troubleshooting of process and equipment issues.
• Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
