Job summary

Tenneco in Glasgow, Kentucky, is seeking Maintenance Technicians I–III to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in a safety-conscious environment. You will work with robotic systems, electrical controls, and mechanical systems to support plant goals.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of maintenance experience, and the ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Maintenance Apprentice program or Technical Certification.
• 2-4 years of maintenance manufacturing experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and able to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules at all times and use PPE; keep work area clean and orderly; inspect equipment before use and report discrepancies.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders; diagnose problems; replace or repair parts; test and adjust; perform plumbing and carpentry tasks.
• Use hand and power tools, electrical meters, aerial lifts, and material handling equipment.
• Detect faulty operations and report issues to supervision.
• Complete all tasks with minimal safety and quality defects.
• All other jobs as assigned.
• Maintenance Tech II/III may fill in as Maintenance Team Leader when needed.
• The Glasgow Tenneco team would prefer experience with robotics and strong electrical background in factory automation to troubleshoot and repair components.
