Job summary

KIRCHHOFF Automotive is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to support production lines in Kentucky. The role requires hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and basic robotics with a focus on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in a maintenance trade, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a willingness to work shifts, follow lockout procedures, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance trade experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or GED; trade cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be present at work, ready to work at the assigned time.
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and carry out remedial actions.
• Inspect machinery for defects and report abnormalities.
• Perform general equipment maintenance per preventive program.
• Operate welding equipment and set up robotic welding stations.
• Modify equipment and install new equipment; assist in CI efforts.
