Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of equipment and utilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with an expert maintenance team to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, while adhering to safety and quality guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in manufacturing/maintenance, reads blueprints and manuals, and is comfortable climbing stairs and working in hot/dusty

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years progressive experience in manufacturing and/or maintenance preferred.
• Experience in Food, chemical and/or dairy processing beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Computer literacy to track or execute work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations on equipment.
• Develop knowledge of pneumatics, steam, water, and ammonia systems; manage processing equipment and PLCs.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, manuals to troubleshoot and repair; order parts as needed.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental guidelines and document all work.
• Operate and maintain plant utilities.
• Weld using various equipment for sanitary product lines.
• Participate in emergency response teams and safety training.
• Keep tools, spaces, and equipment clean and organized.
