Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker seeks a Maintenance Technician for second shift (M-F, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm) in the United States. Salary ranges from $28.69 to $33.11 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential, reflecting experience and qualifications.

You will read manuals, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, perform plumbing and carpentry tasks, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area. A degree or 3–5 years in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate from college or technical school or 3-5 years’ manufacturing experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and service.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Perform plumbing and carpentry maintenance as needed.
• Comply with safety regulations and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

You’ll get to:

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
• Perform variety of plumbing and carpentry maintenance
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Perform other duties as assigned
