Job summary

Welch Packaging Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 2:30PM-1:00AM) to support our production operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and repair production machinery to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial maintenance, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Electrical certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company-owned machinery and equipment in proper working order.
• Perform on-call emergency repairs and respond quickly to maintenance requests.
• Troubleshoot and determine root causes of mechanical issues with machine operators.
• Work with Maintenance Manager to improve machine safety and housekeeping.
• Complete preventative maintenance with crews and maintain maintenance shop/tools.
