Job summary

Trillium Staffing in Norcross, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the 2nd shift. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting metal processing plant equipment, with hours from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and potential overtime based on production needs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and is proficient with overhead crane equipment. Safety-conscious and able to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

2+ years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or metal processing environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot plant equipment including metal processing and overhead cranes.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance per established programs.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
Ensure a safe work environment following OSHA requirements.
Coordinate with contractors for maintenance as needed.
