Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Greenfield, Indiana. The role focuses on performing intermediate maintenance, repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and supporting production goals with minimal downtime.

You will troubleshoot equipment issues, conduct preventive maintenance, and document maintenance activities. The position requires safety compliance and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Developing technical knowledge with machines, tools, equipment, and facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems; CNC equipment, presses, cranes, lasers, and PLC basics.
• Preferred Journeyman certification or Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems independently; assist with more technical tasks under supervision.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic and measuring instruments (e.g., multimeters, calipers, micrometers).
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and procedures.
• Assist with root cause analysis of equipment failures and prepare maintenance reports/documentation for audits.
