Job summary

Astemo is seeking a Technician II, Machine Maintenance for the 2nd shift in Greenfield, Indiana. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair equipment to maximize uptime and ensure production quality.

Responsibilities include servicing a variety of machines, replacing worn parts, calibrating systems, and documenting maintenance actions. Strong safety awareness and basic software knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years work-related experience.
• Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets to perform job duties.
• Knowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DC.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on machines and equipment, following maintenance schedules/guidelines.
• Replace or repair defective parts such as belts, bearings, motors, or sensors.
• Identify and diagnose mechanical/electrical problems or abnormalities in machines.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze and resolve complex technical problems.
• Calibrate and align machinery for optimal performance and accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Follow safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure equipment operates safely.
• Provide technical support to production teams to minimize disruptions.
