Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic for our Oxford, PA operation. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

Prior maintenance experience in manufacturing is required.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
Lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks.
Able to read numbers and maintain written records.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems.
Repair production line equipment such as conveyors and packaging machinery.
Assist in installing machinery and equipment as needed.
Perform welding and light fabrication tasks.
Inspect and adjust equipment; diagnose malfunctions.
