Scotts Miracle-Gro in Oxford, PA is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair production line machinery across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. You will work on conveyors, packaging, grinding, stacking equipment and may assist in installing new equipment.

Applicants should have maintenance and manufacturing experience, the ability to lift 50 lb, and a TEACHABLE attitude with strong problem-solving skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior relevant maintenance experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability for prolonged and repetitive motions (standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, etc.).
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Teachable attitude and ability to learn on the job in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read numbers and maintain written records.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems.
• Repair production line equipment including conveyors, packaging, grinding and stacking equipment.
• May assist in installation of machinery and equipment.
• Cutting and welding, including light steel fabrication.
• Inspects and adjusts equipment and assists in diagnosing malfunctions.
