Job summary

Calumet is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep plant equipment and support systems in top operating condition. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot downtime, and support inventory and work orders in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires the ability to work any shift, physical stamina to stand/walk and lift up to 50 lbs, and solid problem-solving and teamwork skills to ensure continuous operation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 5+ years in mechanical maintenance preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work any shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Essential functions include standing, walking and manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all plant equipment per Maintenance Manager guidance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, tanks and systems.
• Respond quickly to downtime, troubleshoot and minimize outages.
• Monitor plant processes for potential failures and report issues.
• Maintain work orders accurately and timely.
• Assist in maintaining maintenance inventory.
• Work overtime, additional shifts, holidays or weekends as needed.
