Job summary

Calumet is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep plant equipment, tanks, and support systems running smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot downtime, and support inventory and maintenance processes across multiple shifts.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree or 5+ years in mechanical maintenance, with experience in RSLogix/Allen-Bradley PLCs and industrial systems. Willingness to work overtime and pass a drug test is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 5+ years in a mechanical maintenance/industrial field.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work any shift and perform essential functions (walking/standing, lift up to 50 lbs).
• Drug test required after offer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, tanks and systems.
• Respond quickly to downtime, troubleshoot, and minimize downtime.
• Monitor plant processes for potential issues and inform supervisor.
• Maintain work orders and assist with maintenance inventory.
• Work overtime, additional shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed.
