US Conec, Ltd. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Tooling Technician on 3rd shift to maintain and repair injection molding tools, ensuring high efficiency and quality.

You will collaborate with the Tooling Lead and production teams, keep detailed maintenance records, and support tooling improvements while adapting to fast-paced demands. The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in tooling, and hands-on mold maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a tooling or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with injection mold maintenance and repairs.
• Solid understanding of the injection molding process.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and short deadlines.
• Commitment to supporting internal teams including Molding, Production, and Special Operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, insert changes, and repairs on injection molding tools.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and tool performance.
• Identify tooling issues and report findings to the Tooling Lead.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement tooling solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Develop and update Tooling Process Instructions (TPIs) and related documentation.
• Organize and manage tool room components, including spare parts and standard items.
• Collaborate with production teams to provide tooling support and address operational needs.
