Job summary

Permobil is hiring a Maintenance Skilled Technician for the 2nd shift. The role involves maintaining all ROHO equipment, performing preventative maintenance, repairing machinery, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll log work, follow safety policies, and contribute to team performance. The position requires an Associates Degree or 3–5 years related experience, strong mechanical skills, PLC/HMI knowledge is a plus, and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 3–5 years direct related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Good communication skills, mechanical aptitude, fabrication skills helpful; PLC and HMI skills helpful; problem solving.
• Manual dexterity to handle items and perceive attributes.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ROHO equipment by performing preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure operation of machinery and equipment; inspect for failures and repair with hand/power tools.
• Manage equipment records/logs to support predictive maintenance.
• Install functional and structural parts on devices or equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with safety policies.
• Contribute to team with good attendance and meeting performance metrics.
• Keep current with technical knowledge through workshops and seminars.
