McGard LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Mon–Fri) in Orchard Park, NY. The role includes repairing machinery, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting manufacturing equipment. Candidates should have 1–3 years of maintenance experience and strong mechanical ability.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three (1-3) years related experience and/or training in equipment maintenance in a manufacturing setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess high mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

• Repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and performs preventative maintenance procedures as directed.
• Will report to Maintenance Supervisor; takes direction from Maintenance Group Leader or Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
• Work shift includes overtime and weekends as required.
• Assist in assembling, installing or repairing wiring, electrical and electronic components, piping, machinery and equipment.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as needed.
• Complete stock requisitions to maintain maintenance supply inventories.
• Ensure safety training and certifications are current and followed.
