Job summary
Viant Medical Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will perform preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and support core equipment including presses, automation, handling systems, and chillers to ensure safe, efficient production.
Qualifications
- Must have strong mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance skills.
- Proficient in welding, electronics, air compressors, machine shop, hydraulics and electrical maintenance.
- Ability to read and follow complex drawings/plans; work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain and troubleshoot injection molding machines, automation, auxiliary equipment, grinders, dryers.
- Dismantle and inspect parts, rebuild and overhaul machine components.
- Service and maintain robotics, hoists, power and material handling equipment.
- Maintain plant systems including HVAC, ventilation, exhaust, compressors.
- Perform electrical repairs and diagnose malfunctions; troubleshoot microprocessors.
- Walk from complex drawings, plans, and layouts to execute tasks.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all production equipment with precision instruments.
- Contribute to other projects as assigned.
