Job summary

KVC Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician in Missouri to perform a range of skilled and manual tasks for buildings, property, and equipment.

You’ll collaborate with multiple departments to handle maintenance requests and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and inspectors as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general building maintenance experience.
• Current, valid Class F Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 2 weeks of hire).
• 2nd Shift availability (Required).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with a variety of power and hand tools (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, masonry).

What You'll Do

The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of skilled and manual tasks to ensure the proper care, upkeep, and repair of buildings, property, and equipment. You'll work closely with multiple departments to complete maintenance requests and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and inspectors as needed.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of general building maintenance experience (Required)

Current, valid Class F Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 2 weeks of hire)

2nd Shift availability (Required)

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills

Proficiency with a variety of power and hand tools (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, masonry)

Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to crisis situations with urgency

Preferred

College coursework or experience in construction/maintenance

Knowledge of HVAC systems, local building safety & health codes

Familiarity with custodial and landscaping methods
