Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and tooling in our Richmond, VA facility. You will troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, dismantle and repair tooling, and ensure equipment is reassembled and tested with operators.

The role requires basic machining skills, ability to read drawings, and experience with welding.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 years’ work experience or formal training in machine troubleshooting and facilities maintenance.
Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment per schedule.
Clean and lubricate bearings, gears and components.
Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to identify causes of breakdowns.
Dismantle equipment or tooling and install repaired components.
Inspect components for wear or misalignment and reassemble units.
Start and test equipment/tools after repairs with operators.
Read and understand technical drawings for troubleshooting.
Repair and maintain facility structures and utilities.
