Pratt Industries in Sandston, VA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. You will perform required maintenance on plant buildings, machinery, and equipment, and assist other maintenance personnel with mechanical tasks.

You will read mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics, troubleshoot electrical/electronic components, maintain parts inventory, and ensure work orders are completed or resolved. The role requires safety focus and teamwork in a climate that can be hot or cold.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Must have a good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure that coworkers adhere to all applicable safe work policies & procedures.
• Maintain a safe & clean work area.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic components.
• Ensure that all work orders provided are completed as requested, or solution is reached.
• Maintain parts inventory.
• Complete all paper work and data entry as required.
• Assist in the training of coworkers.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
