Job summary

Meyers is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) to repair, maintain, and assist in installing mechanical equipment to support production schedules and minimize downtime. The role requires hands-on experience in printing facilities, plus strong problem-solving and safety awareness.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years Vo-Tech training, and 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years Vo-Tech training required.
• 3–5 years experience in a printing facility.
• Minimum 2 years in building maintenance, machinery repair, electrical wiring, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong math and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all presses and auxiliary equipment.
• Assist with installation of all new equipment.
• Assist in scheduling daily emergency repairs and set priorities.
• Support shift-to-shift communication via voicemail, email and in person.
• Adhere to safety regulations and perform tasks in a high-activity environment.
