Meyers is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 2:00pm–10:00pm shift (Mon-Fri) in Brooklyn Park, MN. The role focuses on repair, maintenance, and installation of mechanical equipment to support production schedules and minimize downtime.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience in machinery repair, electrical wiring, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Strong communication and mechanical aptitude are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in building maintenance, machinery repair, electrical wiring, machine shop repairs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good mathematical and mechanical aptitudes.
• Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all presses and auxiliary equipment.
• Assist with installation of all new equipment.
• Assist in scheduling daily emergency repairs and determine priority.
• Aid in shift-to-shift communication via voicemail, e-mail and in-person.
