Job summary

National Beef Packing of Moultrie, Georgia, is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician for the 2nd Shift to maintain mechanical equipment and facilities in a food processing environment. Candidates should have experience in maintenance at a food production facility and be willing to learn and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance at a food production facility.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong safety record and a focus on safe work practices.
• Willingness to learn and use tools on the job.
• Reliable and punctual with a good attendance history.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and checks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read blueprints or basic technical docs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines
• Rebuilding, repairing, and/or replacing equipment/machinery/parts
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Installing equipment/machinery/parts
• Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems
• Creating daily activity reports
• Collaboration with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues
• Other duties as assigned
