Job summary

National Beef Packing Company LLC in Moultrie, GA is seeking a Refrigeration Technician for night shift. You will operate, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration systems, including compressors and ammonia handling, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Candidates should have practical experience with RCM/PMs, electrical/mechanical skills, and PLCs. On-site role with benefits and a safety‑sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial refrigeration within beef or food industry preferred.
• Knowledge of RCM, PMs and related training.
• Background in electrical, fabrication, fluid power, machining, plumbing or welding.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, service, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Perform periodic testing of ammonia detection systems.
• Monitor and repair hot water heaters, water filters, reservoirs, and electrical control panels.
• Repair and maintain utility equipment and temperature controls.
• Implement preventative maintenance policies and reporting.
• Participate in HAZMAT assignments and Emergency Response Program.
