Job summary

Alpla Inc. in Florence, KY is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. Responsibilities include installation and maintenance of proprietary ALPLA equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of a high school diploma, a technical degree or equivalent experience, and knowledge of industrial maintenance safety. Benefits include a retirement plan with matching and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience at ALPLA or similar industry.
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and maintenance of proprietary ALPLA equipment.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks on machinery.
• Utilize predictive maintenance methodologies for equipment health.

Skills

Knowledge of industrial maintenance safety

Ability to read basic blueprints and schematics

Familiarity with power transmission systems and industrial controls

Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics

Experience with programmable controllers

Knowledge of occupational math for measurements and calculations

Problem-solving and teamwork capabilities

Education

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
