Job summary

Kerry in Evansville, IN is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Level 2 technician to help keep our coatings facility operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. You will troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with equipment installations while working closely with production, contractors, and site leadership.

The role requires a two-year degree in industrial technology or equivalent, plus experience with mechanical repair, welding, and electrical

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in industrial technology or equivalent required.
• Experience with mechanical repair, welding, and electrical troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems independently or with others and develop logical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document work in SAP.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and adjust plant machinery and equipment (mixers, conveyors, compressors, pumps, bearings).
• Assist with equipment installations, facility repairs, and grounds maintenance.
• Support safety, quality, food safety, and continuous improvement standards.
