Medina County Career Center (MCCC) seeks a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift to maintain and troubleshoot production equipment and facility systems. Responsibilities include preventive and emergency maintenance, reading schematics, installing and commissioning equipment, and documenting work performed.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 1–2 years in manufacturing maintenance, and strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical domains.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret technical documents, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
• Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess a related associate or bachelor’s degree, technical certification, or vocational training is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, welding, fabrication, and facility systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on production, packaging, processing, and auxiliary equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, procedures, manuals, and diagrams.
• Install, test, adjust, and commission new production and auxiliary equipment.
• Document service, repairs, labor hours, parts used, and other maintenance-related information.
• Follow safety policies, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and PPE requirements.
