Job summary

United Alloy Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on all production equipment within the Seguin facility. This role requires independence and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues while adhering to safety and ISO practices.

You will develop basic maintenance projects, record labor, follow 5S principles, and help control costs. The position is on-site in Seguin, TX, with Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm hours, and up to 10% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Electro-Mechanical degree preferred or strong technical background.
• At least 2 years of maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Pass D1.1 weld test.
• Familiar with metal fabrication concepts.
• Experience maintaining fabrication equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety and ISO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Develop and implement basic maintenance projects.
• Record time and labor using the data collection system.
• Follow 5S manufacturing practices and company policies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs within the department.
• Stop production if nonconforming parts are detected.
• Maintain building and grounds as needed.
• Inspect and clean equipment regularly.
• Apply lock-out/tag-out procedures when required.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safe operations.
