Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a safety-focused Maintenance Technician to join our California manufacturing facility for the 2nd shift (4 pm–12 am). You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment to keep operations safe, reliable, and efficient.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, experience with LOTO, and a track record of reducing downtime. You will collaborate with Production and Engineering to install improvements and document maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two-year technical degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of industrial mechanical/electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting with low- and high-voltage experience.
• Mechanical aptitude for diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of LOTO and safety procedures.
• Experience with machining, welding, or bulk material handling equipment preferred.
• Proficient with SAP or CMMS; basic PC skills.
• Able to read and communicate technical information.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Install and upgrade equipment; support improvements.
• Follow LOTO and PPE safety procedures.
• Perform general facility maintenance.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate issues.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and maintenance teams.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime.
