Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or GED; a 1-year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• 2–5 years experience without certificate/degree.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to perform basic math and apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Read pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical schematics; PLCs, drives and welding preferred.
• Disassemble equipment; install/repair parts including welding and fabrication.
• Assist in start-up of equipment and manage work orders in CMMS.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; follow procedures and regulations.
• Be able to work overtime as needed and cross-train in other facility roles.
