Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1-year technical certificate preferred; 2–5 years experience without cert/degree.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems with concrete variables and limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Able to stand and walk for 4 hours; can lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience operating forklift and aerial platform.

Responsibilities

• Read pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical schematics; PLCs and drives; welding experience preferred.
• Disassemble equipment and repair parts, including welding and fabrication.
• Assist in equipment start-up.
• Manage work orders and inventory using CMMS.
• Maintain a culture of urgency and monitor plant equipment status.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on significant failures.
• Perform general facility maintenance and ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Crosstrain in other facility roles as needed.
