Miller Poultry in Orland, Indiana seeks a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on plant machinery. The role requires knowledge of welding, general plumbing, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical skills, plus completion of a maintenance test.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain, diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on plant machinery.
• Experience with welding, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with safety rules and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Start machines and observe operation to detect problems.
• Inspect damaged parts and advise on repairs.
• Lubricate and maintain machine parts according to procedures.
• Install or replace machine parts and attachments as per specs.
• Record maintenance information and read work orders for repairs.
