Job summary

Miller Poultry is seeking a mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Orland, IN. The role covers diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on machinery, with tests required for qualification.

Candidates will perform welding, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical tasks, lubricate machinery, and follow safety rules. Training for LO/TO and other safety programs is required.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with ability to diagnose and repair machinery.
• Basic welding, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical work.
• Able to lubricate, adjust parts and perform preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Start machines and monitor performance to identify issues.
• Inspect, test and repair machine parts as needed.
• Lubricate and replace parts according to specs.
• Install or replace machine components per production requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Follow safety procedures and GMPs.
