Job summary

Faxon Machining is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Cincinnati, OH. The role covers maintenance of machinery and the facility, including setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on all production equipment.

Responsibilities include following the preventive maintenance program, repairing components, reading schematics, and ensuring safety guidelines are followed on the shop floor. Prior CNC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years in a similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• CNC machine tool experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the preventive maintenance program.
• Repair or replace machine parts daily while maintaining fluids and cleanliness of machinery.
• Repair CNC controls, drives, motors, and mechanical assemblies.
• Plan and perform predictive, preventive, and reactive maintenance.
• Communicate with supervisors about scheduling necessary maintenance.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
