Arbor Day Farm is the 260-acre property owned and operated by the Arbor Day Foundation, where our mission comes to life.
You Have:
- Passion. For the Foundation's mission, nature, environmental stewardship, and people.
- The desire to help. You enjoy helping guests and team members with maintenance related concerns.
- The right availability. Must be available to work at least a Saturday or a Sunday.
- Experience. You are an experienced Maintenance Technician, with a good foundation of maintenance/trades experience or knowledge.
- Skills. Knowledge of best practices, policies, and procedures related to maintenance.
- A commitment to long-term results. Ability to spot errors and work efficiently to fix them, ensuring long-lasting results.
- The right attitude. Positive, with an incredible work ethic and a can-do attitude.
- A passion for learning. Eagerness to stay informed about changes in maintenance practices.
You Will:
- Be consistent. Ensure daily work includes habits that enable early issue detection.
- Follow through. Complete all tasks and projects to the best of your ability.
- Collaborate. Work closely with operational teams to meet property and guest needs.
- Act on behalf of the Foundation. Participate in meetings to suggest improvements and determine actions for maintenance concerns.
- Maintain the property. Responsibilities include boiler maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, pool, fireplace, and locksmithing.
