Recruiting Solutions is seeking aMaintenance Technicianfor a Temp to hireopportunitywith a company in Greer,SC!This position offers astarting pay of $20-23 per hour.This position will be in support of the 2ndshift, with a Monday to Thursday schedule and overtime support as needed.

Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems on production machines, equipment, and buildings.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks on machinery.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals and work orders.
• Perform corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCS.
• Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking systems.

Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• HSD/GED required
• Mechanical apprenticeship and/or Mechanical Certificate.
• 5 years of mechanical technical hands-on experience.
• Ability to read and use schematics, gauges, tools and instruments.
• Ability to use hand, power, and specialty toolsand diagnostic equipment to complete jobs.
• Knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance with repair and troubleshooting machine issues and breakdowns with general maintenance.
• Must have experience in welding with MIG and/or arc welder.
• Knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, valves, cylinders, conveyors, etc.
• Forklift and scissor lift driving experience is preferred.
