Job summary

Flex-N-Gate in Battle Creek, MI is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install plant mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and other components in a manufacturing environment.

You will maintain electrical, mechanical and program malfunctioning systems in automated machinery, modify production cells to improve quality and productivity, and perform preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Prefer 3+ years in industrial manufacturing.
• Journeyman card preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot PLC programs and robot systems.
• Experience setting parameters for welding (MIG/TIG) and operator safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and program malfunctions in automated systems, automated machinery and stamping presses.
• Modify existing production work cells to improve quality, productivity and ergonomics.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Install new machinery as required.
• Ensure equipment maintenance log is completed.
• Operate an overhead crane and lift truck and maintain a license to do so.
