Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for our distribution center in New York. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, and PLC-driven systems to keep the DC running safely and efficiently.

You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment, applying knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, and electrical drawings. A strong safety mindset and LOTO experience are required for this shift.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or technical certificate preferred in mechanical or electrical applications.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting.
• Familiar with DC-specific software (Crown PM) and equipment.
• Read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Safety awareness and LOTO experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements including OSHA standards and follow PM standards.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems; follow PM and document work.
• Accurately report spare parts inventory and usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians.
• Work with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely.
• Take on other duties to support the DC.
