Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment at our Arizona facility. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure machines and tools operate reliably.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, technical training, and strong mechanical aptitude. Proficiency with hand and power tools is essential; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical or vocational certification or equivalent training
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals
• Mechanical aptitude is essential
• Skilled with hand and power tools; weld/cut when required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and machines
• Use hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut and replace parts
• Weld and use cutting torch as required
• Perform general repairs to plant structures
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and discuss fixes with Head Mechanic
• Replace faulty parts, wiring, motors, and controls
• Install equipment and electrical components and test for proper function
• Dismantle machinery to access defective parts
• Lubricate and clean parts to ensure proper operation
• Perform other duties as needed
