Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment, tools, and machinery. You will install, adjust, and repair equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and work with the Head Mechanic to ensure safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires reading manuals, performing preventive maintenance, and lifting up to 80 lbs; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read instructions and manuals.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, and repair production equipment, heavy trucks, and special purpose machines.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, and replace parts.
• Weld with cutting torch as required and perform general plant repairs.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery and discuss repairs with Head Mechanic for approval.
