Job summary

Clorox Company in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:00 PM–10:30 PM). You will perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of manufacturing, packaging, and facility equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, strong hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical skills, plus knowledge of SAP PM.

Qualifications

• Experience with packaging equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
• Capable of operating hand, power, and specialized tools.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems; knowledge of SAP PM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Manufacturing, Packaging, and Facilities equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and repair breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Coach operators on setup, troubleshooting and operating adjustments of equipment.
• Use SAP to pull work orders, schedule maintenance, and order parts as needed.
• Prepare maintenance daily reports and participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
