Job summary

BLG Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Specialist in Vance, AL to oversee daily maintenance operations and preventative schedules. You will ensure equipment, buildings, and property are kept in proper condition and compliant with safety standards.

The role requires multi-skill maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC tasks, plus leadership of maintenance staff. Training and ASRS support are part of the scope.

Qualifications

• Four to five years related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of city/state building codes, OSHA & ADA guidelines.
• Proficiency in maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and maintain facilities and plant equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production.
• Supervise preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Coordinate with staff to address maintenance needs and audits.
• Maintain inventory levels and purchase supplies as needed.
• Ensure safety inspections and compliance with policies.
