Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift in New Kensington, PA. The role leads maintenance teams responsible for installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical plant equipment across facilities and utilities.

Responsibilities include scheduling with Production, implementing TPM and SOPs, and developing KPIs to monitor performance. 2+ years of leadership in a manufacturing setting is required; ammonia refrigeration and high-pressure boiler experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience mentoring staff or leading a project/team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Train employees on methods and safety procedures.
• Oversee maintenance systems, processes, and documentation.
• Schedule maintenance with Production to address repairs.
• Develop and implement maintenance systems (PM, TPM, SOPs, Safety).
• Provide long-term and day-to-day troubleshooting support.
• Develop KPIs and report maintenance performance to management.
• Ensure maintenance complies with USDA regulations.
• Maintain maintenance records and inventory.
