Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for 2nd shift in Harvey, Illinois. You will lead plant maintenance staff in a union environment, focusing on preventive/predictive maintenance, lean manufacturing, and rapid response to plant needs.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of supervisory experience in industrial manufacturing, with strong electrical/electronics troubleshooting skills and experience with TPM/maintenance systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Industrial electrical/electronics troubleshooting experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Experience in lean manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Administer TPM and Preventive Maintenance across the plant.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and the facility.
• Track data and implement improvements in plant operations.
• Maintain maintenance manuals and training documents for the maintenance department.
• Ensure OSHA training for employees per guidelines.
• Coordinate activities with all plant departments.
• Manage operations via a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Participate in Lean Daily Manufacturing and 5S activities and promote Lean culture.
