Job summary

CJ Schwan’s, a leading frozen desserts producer in Stilwell, OK, seeks a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead technicians from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

You will drive preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance to support production, ensure safety, and improve equipment reliability in the Stilwell plant. You will coach and develop maintenance staff, manage the budget and CMMS (SAP PM), oversee vendors, and promote 5S and defect-elimination practices toward world-class performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; 2-year or 4-year degree preferred, or related maintenance certifications.
• 4+ years maintenance experience with 2+ years in a lead/supervisor role.
• Knowledge of fasteners, lubrication, mechanical drive systems, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Experience with electrical power/control systems, refrigeration, boilers, HVAC.
• Familiarity with food plant production and processing equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, EPA regulations, FDA sanitation standards; MS Office proficiency; SAP experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with safety regs.
• Lead daily maintenance activities to support production.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs, equipment reliability, root cause analysis.
• Oversee repairs, outages, contractors, vendor work.
• Manage maintenance budget, CMMS (SAP PM) and spare parts.
• Improve shop organization and equipment condition via 5S, CIL, defect elimination.
• Develop and coach maintenance team, including hiring.
• Promote adherence to values, policies and conduct.
