Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor for the frozen desserts plant in Stilwell, OK. You will guide maintenance technicians, manage preventive and corrective tasks, and oversee budget, safety, and equipment reliability in a fast-paced food production setting. The role requires 4+ years of maintenance experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Typical hours are 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Friday, with a base salary range reflected below and a 10% incentive

• 2+ years guiding a team (Lead or Supervisor).
• 4+ years maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of fasteners, lubrication, mechanical drive, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, refrigeration, HVAC, boilers.
• Experience with CMMS (SAP PM) or equivalent.

We’re looking for a 2ndShift Maintenance Supervisor role in our frozen desserts plant in Stilwell, OK. In this role you will guide a team of maintenance technicians to manage 2nd shift maintenance operations specific to our plant premises and line production equipment. Typical hours are Monday-Friday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure a safe work environment and full compliance with company, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Lead and prioritize daily maintenance activities (preventive, corrective, and reactive) to support production needs.
• Monitor and drive maintenance KPIs, equipment reliability, and root cause problem-solving efforts.
• Oversee equipment repairs, outages, contractors, and vendor work execution.
• Manage maintenance budget, CMMS compliance (SAP PM or equivalent), and spare parts availability.
• Improve shop organization and equipment condition through 5S, CIL, and defect elimination practices.
• Develop, coach, and manage maintenance team members, including hiring and performance management.
• Promote adherence to company values, policies, and standards of conduct.

What We Look For:

• High School diploma; 2-year degree or 4-year degree preferred, or relevant maintenance/trade school certifications.
• 4+ years of maintenance experience, with 2+ years guiding a team (whether a Lead or Supervisor role).
• Knowledge and skills in the technologies of fasteners, lubrication, mechanical drive systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication, electrical power systems, electrical control systems, production/process, refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Working knowledge of food plant production and processing equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety, and EPA regulations; FDA and sanitation standards preferred.
• Basic PC skills including expertise with MS Office and Outlook. SAP experience beneficial.

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $113,000 annually, with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
